NSG facilitates synergistic information exchange between the commercial space sector and the capital markets: NSG subscribers receive access to our monthly market tracking report (Thruster), several NSG “indices,” and other services outlined here. This promotes informed decision making regarding investments in NewSpace companies.
How does NSG analyze companies?
NSG analysts track nearly 300 for-profit, privately or publicly held companies positioning themselves to profit from growth in the NewSpace sector. For privately-held companies, analysts determine scoring by applying a rigorous 50-question algorithm which explores the management, market, capitalization, and technology (the “NSG 4-Screens”) of that company.
What are the NSG 4-screens?
The NSG 4-screens are used by NSG analysts to rank companies on the NSG 100, NSG RE, and NSG OTB indices. The screens are, in order of importance, Management, Market, Capitalization, and Technology.
What are the NSG 8-verticals?
The NSG 8-verticals are the sub-markets or sub-sectors of NewSpace. Ranked from existing to potential markets, they are Satellites, Launch Vehicle Providers, Space Tourism, Microgravity Research, Space Habitats, Space Debris Removal & Satellite Refueling, Asteroid Mining, and Space Energy.
What are the NSG Indices?
The NSG 100 index tracks the top 100 private companies in NewSpace.
The NSG OTB (“On-the-Bubble”) index tracks those private NewSpace companies that are not in the NSG 100.
The NSG PTC (Publicly Traded Companies) index tracks those publicly traded companies positioned to profit from NewSpace.
The NSG RE (Real Estate) index tracks real estate companies positioning themselves to profit from NewSpace growth.
How many companies does NSG analyze?
NSG analyzes nearly 300 companies - a number that continues to grow as the NewSpace sector matures.
Are all of the companies that are in the NSG indices aerospace companies?
No, any company positioned, or positioning itself to profit from NewSpace growth is tracked by NSG analysts. Several companies in the NSG indices would not traditionally be classified as aerospace companies.
Does NSG just analyze companies based in the US?
No, NewSpace Global analyzes companies all around the world so long as they are for-profit and connected to growth in NewSpace.
